Welcome Message from the Delaware Cemeteries List Mom My name is Kathleen Burnett , I am the List Mom for the DE-CEMETERIES Mailing List and I want to thank all of you who have volunteered your time to help those of us who cannot travel to find the resting places of our forefathers, by photographing them an doing lookups for us. If you request a favor from one of our volunteers, please show genealogical courtsey and offer to help pay for their gas, their film and postage. If it is a full day you are asking for, you might even offer to buy them lunch. Many times it is only because of wonderful people like these that you and I are able to see the sacred grounds of our forefathers. It is the responsibility of the requester and the volunteer to work out the details. If you know of a lonely grave, one that has long been forgotten, please send the information. A picture if you can, but for sure the location and the information which is written on the stone. Without your help, these graves will soon disappear. I will post these graves for future researchers. |
